About Sharon Moncur Jewellery

At Sharon Moncur Jewellery I design and create beautifully unique pieces of jewellery inspired by the natural world often using petals, leaves and seeds that grow around me here in Midlothian, Scotland..

I am self taught and have been making jewellery for 15 years!

I use a variety of media to showcase the wonderful colour, texture and shape combinations that naturally occur in nature, allowing the wearer to carry this with them throughout their day in a striking piece of contemporary jewellery.

Silver

Using silver clay, I am able to print the texture of leaves and petals onto silver to create realistic silver charms. I also use moulds to create other shapes such as shells and stars. Find out more about silver clay here

Resin

Coloured resin is added to some of my pieces creating eye-catching and unique jewellery. More information about resin can be found here.

Sea Glass

The sea glass I use is collected by me and my family from the stunning beaches of south east and west coasts of Scotland.

I do not smooth my sea glass and prefer to use only the smoothest pieces that are naturally provided by the sea. More information about sea glass can be found here.
